Weigh in
Just stepped on the scale and this week it is 224.6. That is exactly a 3 lbs drop from last week and it brings the total loss to 10.2 lbs. Hmm imagine that, stick to the plan, work hard, eat right, and the lbs come off. This was a good week, gotta keep after it.

Hung out with Nathan today and we had a pretty good time. Total calories for the day were 1477. About 80 calories below goal. Also did 72 pushups, so that was good. Next up for pushups is a test to establish sets going forwarded. I really struggled through this last week on them. Weigh-in day in the morning. Pretty strong week, so hoping for a good result.

Good day, good day. Calories were 1435, about 100 below goal. Got the Wednesday run in at 7:30. Normally I see no one at the South Albany track at that time, maybe 1. Started back up the pushup program, and knocked out 64. It was good I need to keep these up, quick little struggle that I don’t mind. Just need to keep them active in my mind. Weigh in and weekend wrap
Weighed in at 227.6, gain of 1.2 lbs. I think I was dehydrated last week when I did the official weigh in since I checked a couple times over the next few days and had gone up. 2.02 miles today and 1460 calories. Legs continue to hurt when running but ibuprofen and ice helped afterwards. Calories were good today, 1385. Well below the goal. Time to own up to be a slacker on the exercise front again. Did some stretches, watched the P90x intro video, and read through the nutrition guide, but no running. Gotta get back on track, exercise wise. Shins are still hurting so I did a good stretching routine in anticipation of a run, but that made it flare up. Usually it will be on a Sunday, but with travelling this past week it is today.  Last time I was at 230.4, and that was 9 days ago.  This morning I was 226.4, so 4 lbs, over the last 9 days.  Which is great considering we went out of town for 4 and a half of those days, and had a mini party for the BCS title game.  Going into last week I would have been ok with a staying even. No exercise today, just a 5 hour drive. Calories were great today, which I’m happy with since it was very much an out of routine day. 1554 calories, which is 5 calories over my daily goal. Hard to get much closer than that. Pushups tomorrow, and either some cross training or running depending on the shins.

2.05 miles in the books, another Tracy Morgan congratulations via Nike+ this time for running more miles this week than I did last week. It was at elevation so I was a little more winded but not much. Also very hilly compared to my runs at home. Legs are still killing me, concerns me because I’m doing some pretty easy workouts (walk/run over a two mile area) hopefully it gets better soon....

Free Pizza lunch from work (avoided), pizza and rum for national championship (limited), and I ate breakfast. To end at 1618 calories is a win I’d say. Too bad the Ducks lost, but it was an enjoyable season. Gotta get a run in tomorrow.

I'd like to set a goal...
I’m a person who likes to set goals. So…. This is what I’m thinking. Portland’s run like hell Half Marathon, its the last Sunday before Halloween. I’d like to run it… They don’t have 2011 info up yet, but its been going for 7 consecutive years, so I’m thinking it will probably be done again this year. Out to dinner
We went out to dinner, it was a Christmas gift from Tiffany’s grandparents. Delicious. Done consuming calories for the day, at a total of 1849. More than than the last few days but still pretty good. Still need to run tonight, it’s going to be a late one.

Push-ups
Did my daily push-ups, did an additional 5, so above pace for the 100 push-up program. Legs are really sore today from yesterdays run, especially the inner part of my right leg. Calfs feel better than I thought they would. Let’s see how tomorrow goes, hope it warms up a little. Forecast calls for possible snow in the morning turning to rain.
